Wait Time Policy

A 15-minute grace period is allowed on all pickups other than at an airport. For Commercial Airline arrivals 45 minutes are allowed. After the grace period, wait time charges will apply. Wait time charges are accrued in 1/2-hour increments, BASED on the vehicle’s hourly rate.

Cancellations/Changes

Any cancellations or changes must be received at least four (4) hours before the scheduled pickup time for SEDANs and SUVs. Reservations canceled under the four (4) hours are billed at the full fare. For specialty vehicles such as stretch limousines, and vans, 14-passenger minibuses require up to twenty-four (24) hours advance notice. For vehicles with a seating capacity of 15 passengers or more, please refer to the special instructions above in your reservation. 

Rate Estimate
The rate presented to you AT THIS TIME is an initial estimate of the cost of service as reserved. Road tolls, parking, wait time, extra stop(s), and/or any additional services needed will change your rate. A recommended gratuity has also been added to this trip for your convenience. Additional cash gratuities are allowed but will not offset the charge on your invoice. The payment of this recommended gratuity is subject to your discretion and may be increased, decreased, or eliminated immediately after the trip. All gratuities are passed on to the chauffeur. Reservations between 12 Midnight and 5:59 AM and/or a holiday will incur a surcharge.

Credit / Debit Card Policy
HLS reserves the right to seek a Credit/Debit Card authorization hold over the estimated charges at the time of booking. The funds will be on hold until released by your bank or financial institution. Depending on your financial institution there could be an overlap between this pre-authorization and the actual charge. HLS will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges. A ride receipt will not be provided in the vehicle. The ride receipt including all final charges will be emailed upon ride completion.

Vehicle Disclaimer

In the event, that HLS is unable to provide any particular vehicle(s) due to mechanical failure or conditions beyond its immediate control, HLS may replace such vehicle with vehicles otherwise available to HLS without your having any right to set, offset or price reduction.

Consumables in a vehicle

We need to respect the vehicle’s environment. Please refrain from smoking any substance in the vehicle that could impact the chauffeur or the next passenger entering the vehicle.

Child Passenger Restraint Law

Children under the age of 8 years, and under the height of 57 inches must be secured in a child passenger restraint system appropriate for their age, weight, and height. The parent or guardian must provide, secure, and seat the child themselves. The chauffeur is neither authorized nor certified to install the device.
